The National Safety Council reports that roughly 1.6 million accidents every year are caused by distracted driving due to cell phone use, so this campaign could not have come at a more crucial time. The #PhoneDownEyesUp campaign features a number of short videos depicting everyday activities outside the car that are made more difficult by texting. From gardening, to making pancakes, to even working out with a friend, Honda sends a clear message with these videos: if you can't do these things while texting, you certainly can't drive.
