Officially designated a "sport hybrid coupe," the 2013 CR-Z is modeled after an older vehicle, the CR-X. Like the previous model, the CR-Z is a sporty and fun-to-drive small car, but offering an eco-friendly, hybrid powertrain.
The 2013 Honda CR-Z is power-driven by an Integrated Motor Assist system bringing together a 1.5-liter gas engine with a 23-horsepower electric motor. The two energy-producing stations are paired with your choice of CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) or six-speed manual transmission.
The CR-Z structure's two engines are able to generate up to 130 horsepower and 140 pounds-per-foot of torque. The vehicle is ready to go in two trims: Base and EX, each contributing excellent comfort, convenience and safety ammenities including: electronic stability control, six airbags, keyless entry, alloy wheels, Bluetooth and cruise control. The EX steps it up a notch with a HID headlights, fog lights, 7-speaker audio system, leather-wrapped steering wheel / shift knob and heated mirrors.
