In a couple of months, the racing world will converge on Pike's Peak in Colorado to take part in the legendary hill climb held each year. It's always quite interesting to see what automakers like Honda have in store for the event, and around this time is when we start getting sneak peeks at their plans. While nothing in the way of renderings have come out yet, we do know the automaker is bringing a record amount of vehicles.
In total, Honda will bring 10 vehicles in different classes which includes cars, motorcycles, and ATVs. It's a record number of entrants for a single manufacturer, and we like their chances as they go for glory and try to build on last year's performance where the car finished fourth overall with a time of 11 minutes and 42 seconds.
Once again, Honda will use the NSX racer, designed specifically for the event using Honda parts to give it a tighter suspension, smooth shifting, and an overall performance boost for the uphill climb. We are sure will hear more about the details of the NSX racer set for Pike's Peak in the future, so stay tuned to the Fox Honda blog for updates.
We also invite you to stop in and browse our new Honda lineup in our showroom conveniently located at 3050 Broadmoor SE in Grand Rapids. We'd be happy to discuss models like the Civic, Accord, Pilot and more, while answering any questions you might have and setting up test drives.
